Starting from Dharamshala, Wainer embarks on a 500 km solo paragliding and bivouac adventure across the Indian Himalayas, with one ambitious goal: to reach the Nepalese border. Carried by the mountain winds, he flies over deep valleys and remote landscapes, navigating the challenges of an expedition where every kilometre brings new uncertainties. Far from the comforts of everyday life, the journey demands constant adaptation. Changing conditions, hunger, stress and the solitude of travelling alone test his determination as he pushes forward through this vast and demanding mountain environment. Each landing marks another stage in the adventure, with nights spent bivouacking along the way and encounters with local people offering unexpected moments of human connection. Combining the freedom of flight with the raw reality of a solo expedition, Across India is an immersive journey into the heart of the Himalayas, following one paraglider’s determination to cross the mountains and reach Nepal.
