Since the 1940s, riders have headed to Baja Mexico for bikes and waves. In the summer of 2018, six friends — Zye Norris, Forrest Minchinton, Lewie Dunn, Matt Cuddihy, Harrison Roach, and Micah Davis — load custom motorcycles (with surf racks) and a vintage ’63 Chevy panel van and set off from California into the desert and surf coast. With nothing more than a roadmap and a sense of adventure, they ride dusty desert tracks, surf Punta Baja breaks, push machines to their limits, and reconnect with the spirit of adventure that first drew them to bikes and waves.
