Professional adventurers Hugo and Ross Turner, better known as the Turner Twins, set an official world altitude record for a tandem electric paramotor. With current limitations on battery technology in the aviation industry, the twins set the official world record by reaching an altitude of 2,613m (8,572ft). Initial test flights took place on Dartmoor, Devon, in early September, with the final record attempt taking place in Val D ’Isere in the French Alps in late October 2024.
