In July 2024, French mountain guides and lifelong adventurers Liv Sansoz and Bertrand Roche, known as “Zebulon,” set out to climb legendary K2 (8,611 m) without supplemental oxygen. But reaching the summit is only part of their dream. From the top of K2, they aim to take off together by tandem paraglider, combining two extraordinary disciplines in a challenge at the limits of mountaineering and paragliding. For Zeb, the expedition marks a new chapter in an already remarkable story. In 2001, he made the first tandem paraglider flight from the summit of Everest. For Liv, K2 is her first 8,000-metre peak, placing her among the very few women to have reached the summit without supplemental oxygen. More than a story of sporting achievement, K2 Mon Amour is a story of passion, perseverance and trust.
