Katherine Choong was the first Swiss woman to climb a 9a route, with Cabane au Canada in 2018, followed by Jungfrau Marathon in 2019. After pushing the limits of sport climbing difficulty, Katherine naturally turned toward another side of climbing that fascinated her just as much, although she felt less at ease with it: long and demanding multi-pitch routes. Together with Jim, her partner in life and on the rope, Kathy took on 6.4 Sekunden (8b max) in 2021, followed by Hattori Hanzo (8b+ max) in 2022. After successfully climbing two of Switzerland’s hardest multi-pitch routes, the couple is now focused on an even more ambitious objective: Fly, an extreme 550-meter route graded up to 8b+. This is the story of a young couple united by a shared passion, who through extreme challenges embark on an extraordinary human and sporting adventure. Ehrard-Loretan Prize - Festival International du Film Alpin des Diablerets 2024. Official Selections 2025: Pirineos Mountain Film Festival, Inkafest Mountain Film Festival, Bergwelten Filmfestival Stans, IFMF.
