Julien, a former sailing instructor and film graduate, found his path through Polarize, guided by Yann Riou, France’s top OBR (onboard reporter). The film weaves past and present, blending Anne and Julien’s 2023 race with stories from legendary reporters like Yann and Dominique Pipat, who first brought the public aboard with Eric Tabarly in the 1981 Whitbread.
