Serendipity
Serendipity is the documentary story of Anthony “Tony” Hussein Hinde, a 20-year-old Australian whose surfing adventure led him to a deserted island in the then-unknown Maldives. There, he discovered untouched waves, Eastern Islamic culture, and a new personal identity. For 15 years, Tony surfed in isolation, sharing his secret with only a few friends. When the secret was revealed, he founded the Maldives’ first dedicated surf camp, becoming the father of surfing in the nation and creating a legacy that blended personal nirvana with a thriving tourism industry.
